About Manitoba Museum Palaeontology:
The Manitoba Museum is located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and houses one of the largest natural history collections in Canada. Palaeontology collections span all of Earth's history, with special concentration on mid-Palaeozoic fossils, including from globally significant Lagerstätten of Manitoba.

The University of Saskatchewan is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a member of the U15 group of Canadian universities (the most research-intensive instituitions in the country). The Department of Geology includes globally recognized palaeontologists and supports one of the few Palaeobiology undergraduate majors in the country. Also located on campus at USask is the Canadian Light Source, Canada's only syncrotron, which is utilized in support of a wide range of research including palaeontology.

Students joining Manitoba Museum Palaeontology have the opportunity to develop their research through collaboration with these institutions.
