Artistic CollaborationI believe that art is one of the key tools for conveying research, both to other scientists and the public. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with several incredibly talented professional and student artists in the production of various scientifically accurate 2D and 3D artworks to virtually bring extinct animals back to life. These works are featured prominently on this website.

Gallery WorkAt the Manitoba Museum, I am involved in the conception of major planned upgrades to three galleries: Earth History (Curatorial lead), Arctic/Subarctic, and Boreal Forest. Previously, I contributed to the development of the Willner Madge Gallery, Dawn of Life at Royal Ontario Museum, notably as a content advisor for text and artwork. Several of my own research stories and personally discovered fossil specimens are featured. In addition, I leveraged relationships with avocational fossil collectors to facilitate acquisitions of important specimens and fossil preparation services. I have also contributed to an update of the virtual gallery on ROM's Burgess Shale website and I acted as a content advisor for an outdoor Burgess Shale-themed interpretive display in Field, B.C.
